and a wonderful long weekend it was... never long enough, of course, which is cliche but true. went to the cubs game on friday and got loaded. all in good fun, of course. and it was all free... which was certainly wonderful. sometimes its good to be a corporate "customer".
saturday was fairly laid back, did the bbq thing with my inlaws. good food, good weather, good times. i dont remember saturday night though. and i dont know why. itll come to me later, im sure. i didnt even drink saturday, i know this.
sunday we headed out to starved rock to spend the day with some friends. that was a good time. wiped me out though. and that was particularly unfortunate (the wiping out, that is), because cold bones and i had plans to get together and work a long night on some under the table stuff. and that we did. we worked for about 8 hours and did some fantastic work. i recommend checking out the new video, and also the new cast page. we have some spectacular videos coming up in the near future, so look for those too. in particular, watch for "hookup" in a few weeks. were also advertising right now on the comic strip saturday morning breakfast cereal's site, so that will hopefully get us some good traffic. apparently yesterday alone we transferred a half gig of data... and thats huge, since we have only transferred about 3.5g in the entire month of may. maybe today will be intense too. that would be pretty awesome. the stats are a day behind, though, so the suspense will just have to build...
oh, and yesterday was bbq stuff at my parents house. then it was to home to read for homework... class again tomorrow. after tomorrow the term will already be half over... just three more weeks after that. not too shabby at all.
i passed my basic skills test, so that rocks pretty solid. out of 300 points, i needed 240 to pass, i got 283. apparently i only got one wrong on the math section, which astounds me something fierce. pretty cool.
well, back to work. lunch is over. and i have to go to the bathroom.
